GC crash upon startup (Win7 x64) [SOLVED]
Trying to run the game Ground Control but crashes upon startup.
The screen turns black and then crashes back to Windows desktop with error message (see attachment).
I am also attaching my dxDiag to this post.
EDIT: (SOLVED) I right-clicked the GC shortcut and chose to run in 640x480 resolution. That way I could start the game, and then change the resolution to a higher one in the OPTIONS menu. Once I got it launched the first time, I tried to de-select the option to run the shortcut in 640x480, and it runs fine ^^

Re: GC crash upon startup (Win7 x64) [SOLVED]
Glad you got it working. Just make sure if you're going to play multiplayer with the new maps, you have the resolution over 800x600 because some of them will crash otherwise. Not to mention that 640x480 is kind of hilarious at this point.
...also welcome to the boards.

Thank you. Didn't even know multiplayer was still available. I just got this game because I played it back when it came out. Even then, I thought it was sort of like a hidden gem. I really loved it, but none of my friends played it - some never even heard of it
