Gamers: The Mentality

"I win only if you lose."

Works when playing games.

Doesn't work when collaborating on creative projects. Drives a project into the middle-ground of mediocrity.

There is no shame in defeat, there is only shame if you do not learn from it!

Your enemies weakness is your strength.
Your weakness is your enemies strength.
Know your enemy, know your self.
Knowledge held is worthless, Knowledge used is understanding, Understanding is enlightenment, Enlightenment is victory.

What I'm trying to say is that, so far as GC is concerned, we can't look at each others as enemies.

A collaborative project where others see each other as enemies cannot survive. We can't have the zero sum mentality (I only win if you lose). We need a win-win mentality.

I guess? If that option is available in the game settings. If not and you hit mute, you can't hear the other sounds either. :?
