Echoscout wrote:For what it was/is, I really like DC. I thought the storyline was great and the units were pretty well thought out, although I will agree some things could have been changed (units didn't need to be so powerful, specs/equipment, etc.)

The story and development of the characters was good, I have no problem with that, but my gripe was about the way it looked and the whole campaign just seemed rushed and disjointed.

I am afraid my modding days are over, I had too many sleepless nights and trying to organise and contact people while trying to hold down a job was a real pain. If it was my full-time job then that would be different. Now I just like to sit back and play what ever mods people can come up with. ;)

Anyway getting back to the point of this thread, here are some of my contributions; (if it will let me do it this time!)

Wow that arty unit looks comfortingly weird!
[Man:] So say me, noble stranger, what brings you here this night?
[Death:] I have come to release you from the bitter taste of life.
[Man:] Why me? Why now? It cannot be my time.
[Death:] Everything that falls to the ground is mine.

To clarify:

We can't modify any of the original artwork as they are converted into a proprietary format that GC uses. You can modify the basic bone structure (turret/barrel locations, etc) as those are stored in a separate file. Additionally, you can create new artwork if you have lightwave, as Massive released the tool to convert *.lwo files into the proprietary *.mod format.

That said, I am willing to bet they never got both turrets working on this combined tank, as from what I know, GC can only use one turret in a model at at time (and even if you could, there are hurdles upon hurdles, like specifying two different standard weapons, etc). Some engine updates were made for DC, but I don't believe DC allows two turrets either.

That was not what I wanted, after editing the picture quality was bad
Later I have a better picture.
